Robinson Anderson Publishing offers several publishing options with basic publishing starting at $1995. However, all options are full customizable and we can even customize a plan specific to your needs..

How do I get started publishing with Robinson Anderson Publishing?

To get started working with us, first schedule your free 30 minute consultation with us. All interactions are confidential. From there, if your book sounds like a project we can help you be successful with, we will discuss next steps which involves a signed agreement and deposit which must be completed before we can begin work on your project.

How do my books get sold to consumers?

As part of our packages, customers will be able to order your book through our distribution network including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million and Ingram. through the partnership with one of the largest global distributors in the world, your book is available to over 40,000 independent bookstores, online stores, eBook retailers, libraries and universities in the U.S, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and England.

Who handles printing and order fulfillment?

Copies of your book will be printed and delivered directly to customers on your behalf. As an option, you'll also have the ability to order author copies and have them shipped directly to your door. This is a great option if you have in-person book events and need your own copies or if you have a website that you want to be able to sell books through.

How do I collect my royalties?

You earn royalties on each book sale (minus the wholesale discount and print cost). We issue a royalty statement and send funds to our authors each quarter for books that our sold through our distribution channel. 

Here's an example of what the royalty would like like:

$19.99 Retail price (price set by the author) with 55% Wholesale discount (required by most retailers)

= $8.99

- $2.49 print cost

= $6.50 Net Sale

100% Author Royalty = $6.50 Author Royalty per Copy

 

Who owns the publishing rights when I publish with Robinson Anderson Publishing?

You, the author, retain all rights to your work. By signing our publishing agreement, you grant us the nonexclusive right to publish your book for as long as you like.

What about copyright registration?

The securing of copyright protection is frequently misunderstood. Copyright is secured automatically when a work is created. A work is “created” when it is fixed into a book, tape or electronic medium for the first time.

No publication, registration or other action in the U.S. Copyright Office is required to secure copyright. However, to enforce the copyright and for other practical reasons, we register your work with the U.S. Copyright Office.

Since 1989, a copyright symbol © has not been required in order to protect a copyright. However, it does put people on notice that your work is copyrighted and weakens any "innocent infringements." A person may use the © symbol even without registering the work with the U.S. Copyright Office.
